Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free inspections?

Yes. We offer free roof and gutter inspections for homeowners and property managers. Our inspections are thorough and include checking shingles, flashing, pipe boots, ventilation, gutters, and other critical components. After the inspection, we’ll explain what we found, answer your questions, and outline your options clearly—no pressure and no obligation.

How do I know if I need a roof repair or a full replacement?

That’s one of the most common questions we get. Some issues, like small leaks, damaged shingles, or flashing problems, can often be repaired effectively. Other situations—such as widespread wear, storm damage, or an aging roof—may require replacement to be a long-term solution. We’ll walk you through our findings and explain why a repair or replacement makes the most sense for your roof.

Do you work with insurance claims?

Yes. If your roof has been impacted by wind or hail, we can inspect for storm damage and help you understand whether filing an insurance claim may be appropriate. While we don’t work for the insurance company, we do help homeowners understand the process, review scopes of work, and ensure repairs are completed properly.

What types of roofing do you install and repair?

We install and service a variety of roofing systems depending on the property and scope of work. Our primary focus is asphalt shingle roofing for residential and multi-family properties, installed according to manufacturer guidelines and best practices to ensure durability, proper ventilation, and long-term performance.

In addition, we provide metal roofing installations, as well as repairs on flat roofing systems including TPO and EPDM. For flat roofs, we focus on targeted repairs and maintenance to address leaks, flashing issues, and problem areas without unnecessary replacement.

Will you clean up after the job is done?

Absolutely. Jobsite cleanliness is a priority for us. We remove all debris, use magnets to pick up nails, and leave your property clean and safe once the work is complete.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Mountain View Roofing LLC is fully insured for your protection. We take professionalism and accountability seriously on every project.
