After the May 2025 hail storm, Josue showed up on our doorstep, asking whether we'd like to have him fly a drone above our home to survey possible hail damage. Although I hadn't seen Josue for over a decade (he was a young foreman on our 2014 roofing job), I immediately recognized him… his integrity, work ethic, knowledge, honesty, and personableness made him hard to forget! He's a decent, honorable man in what can be a dishonorable profession.
Cut to the chase: Our roof, gutters, and solar shingles had extensive damage. Josue personally met with our insurance adjuster to discuss the project, and both were in agreement on the extent of damage. Josue was again the foreman on our re-roofing job, running a tight show with a hard-working crew and handling the complex project beautifully. He's an excellent and fair communicator who good-naturedly responded to our many, many questions.
A few months later, when we had solar panels installed by a different company, the foreman on that job told us that he always looks for problems with roof installations, and always finds issues. His report on our roof: To his surprise, not a single problem identified!
